Edd qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2015. He also has a BSc (Hons) in cell biology from UCL. He has worked in a range of practices. His time working for large corporates demonstrated to him that he prefers a more personal and tailored approach to running a dental practice. He enjoys restorative dentistry, particularly root canal treatments to enable patients to keep their own teeth for as long as possible. He is able to provide short term orthodontics with clear aligners to straighten teeth and complement a holistic and complete approach to oral health. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking for friends and family and listening to music.

Isabel graduated with honours from Sheffield University in 2016 and currently divides her time between the Yorkshire Grey and a job in Community dentistry in Colchester. There she provides dental care for those with otherwise limited access to oral health care, including people with physical and learning disabilities, mental health conditions and complex medical histories. She is accredited to provide sedation to help manage patients with phobias and severe dental anxiety, and is currently introducing this to complement practice at the Yorkshire Grey. Izzy is also a member of Sedation and Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) and The British Society of Special Care Dentistry (BSSCD)

Matt grew up in the Colchester area before completing his BSc in Biomedical Science at Queen Mary’s University and then his dental training at The Royal London Dental Hospital. Providing all aspects of general dentistry, Matt focuses on taking a caring and guided approach to help his patients achieve complete dental health. He mainly spends his time at The Yorkshire Grey providing dental implants and surgical dentistry and has completed The Royal College of Surgeons dental implant training course. He also has an interest in medical technology including clinical 3D printing.

Trevor has been involved in dental technology all of his life, he is from a family of dental technicians, with his father and grandfather both running dental labs in Essex. He qualified in one of the first cohorts of Clinical Denture Technicians from the University of Central Lancashire, allowing him to see patients directly to provide high quality handmade dentures, which he fabricates in his dental laboratory in Billericay. Outside of the clinic (and lab!) he enjoys spending time on his boat.

Jess started her career as a dental nurse, she is a qualified therapist. She aims to provide patients with high quality care and advice to allow them to keep their teeth healthy and has undertaken postgraduate training in teeth whitening, fillings and more advanced dental techniques. Outside the practice Jess enjoys cooking, going to the gym and spending time with her family & friends

Liz joined the practice in 2020, after working in the aesthetics industry for a number of years she trained as a dental nurse and joined The Yorkshire Grey. She has recently completed her post qualification training in inhalation sedation. In her time off she enjoys spending time with her family

Lily has works in and around the Colchester area since qualifying. She has also completed a number of post qualification certificated including oral health education. She is currently studying to become a Dental Therapist at The University of Suffolk. Lily likes to travel and be outdoors when she’s not at work.

Joni joined the practice in early 2022 and i has recently completed her dental nurse apprenticeship with Colchester Institute. She is currently studying to become a Dental Therapist at The University of Suffolk. When she’s not at the practice she enjoys gardening and cooking.

TRAINEE DENTAL NURSE

Izzy joined the practice as an apprentice dental nurse and has progressed rapidly through her course. She has a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry, particularly surgical procedures and implants. Outside of work, Izzy enjoys spending time with friends and is currently learning to play the harmonica.

RECEPTIONIST

Olivia is new to dentistry but has a lot of experience with children, she is a trained Montesorri Teacher and worked in Child Services for a number of years. She started working with us after her young sons were old enough to start school.

RECEPTIONIST

Danielle joined the practice in 2024, bringing with her valuable experience from the aesthetics and hospitality industries. She is known for her friendly sense of humour and enjoys spending most of her time outside of work caring for her children.
