Watercolor painting of a white building with a sign that reads 'The Yorkshire Grey' on Robinsbridge Road. The building has two stories, rectangular windows, and a black front door with a small porch. There are green bushes and a fence in front. To the right, a narrow street curves past neighboring houses, with chimneys and TV antennas visible on the rooftops.

The Yorkshire Grey Dental Surgery is a long standing, family run dental practice in the heart of the historic town of Coggeshall.

A woman with glasses and braided hair is looking at her phone at a reception desk, with a young girl with braided hair resting her head on the counter and looking at the woman. The woman sitting on the other side of the desk is smiling. There is a bulletin board and a lamp in the background.

We strive to provide our patients with the best available care, with a focus on prevention. We aim to take a holistic approach to oral health, recognising that each patient is individual and will require a tailored approach. This includes patients with dental anxiety, who, as with all of our patients, can expect to be treated with kindness and patience.

Sustainability

A vintage-style sign with the text 'The Yorkshire Grey' on top and 'Free House' at the bottom. The sign depicts a person standing next to a piece of machinery, possibly a printing press.

The Yorkshire Grey itself has had a long journey to today’s life as a dental practice!

Initially built as the end of a terrace in the Victorian era, it served the community as a public house and provided a water trough for the working animals in the local area. The old pub sign can still be seen in the waiting room. The name comes from the type of draught horse used by breweries to pull the delivery carts.
